Donaji Oaxacan Crafts
Donají is a boutique specializing in unique Oaxacan crafts such as pottery, textiles, embroidered clothing and art. In Zapotec, Donají means grand soul and we aim to share Oaxaca's grand soul through carefully selected artisan products. We work with artisans in Oaxaca and Los Angles and are committed to fair trade and supporting our communities.
Donají is a branch of Oaxacalifornia Inc, a small family business founded in 2003. In 2024, we expanded our wings and wanted to create a space inside Mercado La Paloma where we could share Oaxacan art and culture with Los Angeles. Donají is operated by Lizbeth Antonio Hernandez who was born in Oaxaca, Mexico and is a proud member of the vibrant Oaxacan community in LA.
